Tucked in for the night. We are in a super two year old hostile built inside a 500 year old monastery. Our beds are two high and in pods of four. Morgan is above me. At arms length to my right is a chef from Oxford England and above him is a 100% French speaking gentleman. We communicate by sign language.
Supper was neat tonight. A full trout (gutted) and a scoop of fries.
We had a great day. The climb was 2000 feet. Sugarloaf is 2500. Then on our way back down we made a mistake and took a steep trail. Gary told me that friends of his were injured on the same trail. So, I was very careful not to jam my toed into the front of my boots. Want to carry on with all 10 toe nails.
We are both keeping healthy. No blisters yet.
Went to Mass tonight. 600 year old church and the priest used an iPad. He read out the countries represented . There were more than 20.
Tomorrow is a more civilized walk. Several villages. The weather looks poor so we don't really have a plan. The hostels are busy but not summertime crazy.
Lights just went out. Time to put in the ear plugs and hit the sack.
