Belarado

‎We are in Belarado. Quick walk this morning. Less than 25 km. We hit a home run with our hostel. Only four if us in the room. Two of Morgan's friends set it up.

We sent Chris to the store to buy lunch supplies. Louis cooked and six of us are now full. All for 2€.

It is now very rare that you see someone you do not know. The pack entering a town every afternoon is about 250 people. Morgan compares it to the movie Groundhog Day. Every day in these communities must seem the same. Feed the pilgrims, set them on their way, clean up, greet new pilgrims between 12:00 and 4:00. Feed them. Put them to bed. Repeat daily.

We sprung the big bucks to have our clothes cleaned and dried.

Yesterday I had to buy shampoo. I could only get a 300 ml size. Way way too heavy. So, I have been intercepting every one on the way to the shower offering them shampoo. By the time everyone tops up their bottles I should be okay. All joking aside many thoughts  revolve around weight. You are always thinking " what can I throw out? ".

It is nice to be out of the large cities. This is a small town and very quiet. The cities are nice but there is also the pressure to buy something you don't need. Weight.

Off to visit the town square.
